With the onslaught of due dates, projects, exams, and papers from your syllabi, it'll surely drive you crazy. To mitigate the stress that comes with all that pressure, I try to stay very organized. How will you be staying organized this semester? Here are some of my favorite ways!
The month of July marks a halfway point in the year. Here we are, already halfway through 2019. How crazy is that? If feels as though the year has begun just yesterday!
As you know, one of the ways I stay organized in my busy life is my bullet journal. It is my primary organizational system. I also keep a calendar book and a white board calendar, but these days I use them scarcely. While June has ended, so has my previous bullet journal. Each journal I create is divided for every six months; this allows me to use as many pages for spreads as I need. I get to start fresh and try out new layouts and themes!
Happy New Years!
Looking back, 2018 seems so short and filled with moments that we wanted to escape from and moments we wish never ended. The new year brings the possibility of change in every avenue. For me, the changes will occur in my personal and professional life. 2019 brings exciting opportunities in my career and my education. The most important is how I manage it all. I anticipate being extremely busy in the coming year. I wanted my bullet journal to aid me and not hinder me. Therefore, I have to say goodbye to the super artsy-fartsy spreads. Hello minimalism! It's about time that I revealed the December bullet journal spreads! It's been stressful deciding exactly what I wanted this month to look like. It's beneficial to sketch a mock layout in spare pages in the back of the journal, something I wish I did. Mock outlines will be a task to implement in 2019.
Being a stoner is amazing, we can all agree. However, turning a blind eye to the negatives is not conductive to your productivity. It's important to have self awareness. For me, if I've spent the previous night smoking a lot, especially after smoking all day, I'm more likely to wake up late and feel sluggish. Sometimes I don't wake up on time or never get anything done. It's called the "Weed Hangover." Most of you are familiar with this.
One thing I have found to help with the weed hangover is establishing a routine. CBD is an amazing tool for eliminating most symptoms of the weed hangover, however, many people in illegal states do not have access to or funds for CBD products. If you're like me, you can relate to endless late nights desperately trying to finish tasks for class, work, or personal life after hours, days, or weeks of putting it off. If you're like me, you put off those tasks by saying "It'll eventually get done" or "I'll do it later." If you're like me, you are a procrastinator.
I have been this way since I could remember. I would stay up long nights throughout middle school, high school, and more often in college. Combine procrastination with being a stoner... I would have to push myself to get anything done, or rely on my friends/mother for motivation. This is when I needed to apply self-awareness. I needed to find an effective solution to be more productive self-sufficiently. I figured out that I needed to plan ahead. This is what I sought for this blog: finding ways of becoming and helping others become more productive, all while indulging in the medical and recreational benefits of CBD and THC. |
