Welcome back to my blog my fellow stoners! It has been almost a year since my last post. My last post was in September of 2019. So much has changed in my life and in our society, and yet, so much has stayed the same. This post is to provide an update of where I've been and how I will be moving forward with this blog and my many other stoner ventures across social media. where i've been. When you last heard from me last September, I was preparing diligently for my first semester of graduate school. LET ME TELL YOU, that first semester was amazing, exhausting, terrifying, and soul crushing simultaneously. I've never experienced any program that challenges how you view yourself, others, and the world quite as much. I've undergone such personal growth and I continue to self-reflect and challenge my values, beliefs, world views, and behaviors. With the second semester came not only classes, but internship. My schedule from January to June of 2020 consisted of part-time work with children on the Autism Spectrum, full-time graduate class schedule, part-time internship work counseling a variety of clients with specific needs, creating content for Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and The Weedtube, taking care of my mom who was sick for some time, and most recently a independent study on Psychedelics and Psychotherapy. I had one too many things on my plate that I wanted to do and sacrificed quite a lot of self-care and personal wellness. As a result, I experienced a few intense depressive episodes. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, it became much more difficult to muster motivation for and attend to my obligations. It was harder to complete tasks on time, to the best of my ability, and on a consistent basis. My classes, counseling clients, and meetings are all online on virtual programs. I recently opted to go into clinic for work few days a week (essential worker) rather than staying on partial unemployment. Not having a consistent schedule, the inability to leave the house, and the inability to have personal contact with other humans took a toll on me. Where i am now.Now that summer is in full swing, my class course load has alleviated, there is more time to dedicate to self-care, and there is an opportunity to reorganize my time. I have removed the bullet journal (unfortunately) from my planning/organization routine and implemented The Happy Planner. I utilize my digital calendars (iCalendar & TeamUp) frequently to stay on top of my tasks and events. Part of reorganizing my time, is also developing a creator schedule for my many ventures. I am currently creating content for Instagram (where you can find me most often), The Weedtube, and Youtube. I recently purchased a journal to aid in creating content. My Creator Journal consists of growth trackers, content ideas, and a creator schedule. There aren't any current plans for a tour of this journal, but I may surprise myself. Here is a general creator schedule that is subject to change, but I hope it will stay consistent: I want to thank you all for sticking with me and watching me grow as an individual and a creator. I hope to share more aspects of my life as it relates to cannabis, organization and productivity, and mental health.
Here's to more adventures, Kez
