DISPENSARY haul #5: mini haul

Now, don't get too excited. I didn't pick up too many things this time around. I've been stopping in at Cinder for one thing at a time the last few weeks that I didn't see the point in making a post. But I've got a few things this time that I needed and thought I'd share. Here's what I got:

the cartridges.

As you know from my last post, I was recently inducted into using the AiroPro vaporizer system. It's quite discrete and very convenient to use. Today I picked up an AiroPro cartridge, taking advantage of Concentrate Saturday's. My dispensary began selling the full gram cartridges and couldn't pass up the chance. In my opinion, full gram carts last three times as long as half-gram carts (not twice, as you'd think) and are worth the splurge.

I recently explored Sativas again and have found that certain ones work perfectly for my current routine. I prefer my Sativas to have a large CBD percentage, but they've been working so far with a large THC content as well. A balanced Sativa strain is my go to for during the day. I find I'm a little more productive and focused. I do have to exercise caution; Sativas often trigger my anxiety.

In my current exploration of Sativas, I decided to get one for my AiroPro and chose the full gram from the Artisan Flavors Series. I left with Sumatran Sunrise Distillate which is blood orange flavored. Trust me, it's delicious. One hit of this bad boy and I've got energy to burn. It pops right in the magnetic battery and you're good to go!

If it's puffed on a few times a day, I anticipate it lasting three to four weeks for me.

The full gram carts for the AiroPro are less discreet than the half gram carts. With the half gram carts, only the mouth piece is visible. With the full gram carts, you can see a bit of the distillate peeping out the top. It's up to you if you'd like more oil or more discretion.

The bud.

I haven't been smoking flower as much as I'd like to. Work has been so busy that when I get home late at night, I don't want to go outside in the cold to smoke. Therefore, I've been taking a lot of dabs. However, I missed the ritual of smoking flower. Since my dabs are high in THC, I decided to opt for four grams of CBD dominant flower.

I was recommended Avidekel by TIKUN Olam, a name we're familiar with. I previously purchased their 1:1 CBD:THC strain called Midnight with great improvement on my migraines and shoulder pain. Avi-Dekel is a CBD dominant Indica strain. It was specifically bred to contain almost no THC and used to treat seizures, migraines, anxiety, inflammation, pain, fibromyalgia and autoimmune disease symptoms.
Tikun was the first company to innovate and breed a high CBD low THC strain, “avidekel,” which has been recognized internationally and dubbed the first “highless” marijuana strain by Reuters in 2012.
THC: 0.5%
CBD: 19.05%
TOTAL TERPENES: 9.339%
  • beta-myrcene
  • alpha-pinene
  • limonene
  • beta-pinene
  • guaiol
The bud is sticky and kiefy, coated in white THC crystals. The limonene and beta-myrcene terpenes are pungent from the time you open the seal to when you smoke it.

The relaxing effects of the CBD don't take long to kick in. I plan on doing a Stoner Review for this strain, but I do want to smoke more of it for a more in-depth analysis on Avidekel, Midnight, and the brand itself. I may purchase one more for a comparison.

I admire TIKUN Olam and their dedication to medical cannabis.
Avidekel is available in flower, oil, tincture, and topical forms.

the accessories.

I've always wanted to own my own set of Juicy Jay rolling papers and never remembered to make the purchase. Lucky me, they were front and center at the counter. I swiped them up quickly!

I bought the Peaches 'n' Cream flavor as well as the Pineapple flavor. I took an impromptu trip out to the hills for a nature smoke sesh and rolled up one of the Peaches 'n' Cream with the Avi Dekel bud. There was certainly more peach than cream, and it brought out the sweet flavor of the strain even more.
